School Holidays Program

Are you staying in NSW during the holidays?

The DE International School Holidays Program offers a high-quality study program, day trip, and activities to help you make the most of your school holidays.

Don’t miss out on the chance to meet new people, learn new skills and give yourself a reason to get out of the house!

The DE International School Holidays Program is impacted by the stay-at-home orders in place in Greater Sydney. Please see below for the changes to each activity.

Who can join?

DE International School Holidays Program trips and activities are open to students enrolled in a NSW government school through the international students program.

Each trip or activity is open to international students in the year levels specified below:

  • The HSC Study Program is open to international students in Years 11-12.
  • The Sports fun and Environment Days are open to international students in Years 7-12.
  • The Day trip is open to international students in Years 9-12.

The program is not available to students enrolled through the temporary residents program.

What activities can I do?

Please check the eligibility criteria for each activity.  If you are in the correct year level you can choose to participate in any activity.  We will cross check each application to ensure that only eligible students are enrolled.  As places are limited, we encourage you to apply early to avoid disappointment.

What if I need to cancel?

If you apply and realise that you won’t be able to attend due to illness, injury or a compassionate reason, please be courteous and notify us as soon as you can so we can offer your place to another student. Students who cancel at the last minute or who fail to turn up to a confirmed event without providing a valid reason may be withdrawn from remaining school holiday activities and excluded from future programs.
