NSW Government School student wins International Student of the Year Award

Each year, the NSW International Student Awards recognise the outstanding contributions international students make to communities in NSW, and celebrate excellence in international student community engagement.

This year’s awards were presented by The Hon. Alister Henskens, SC MP, Minister for Enterprise, Investment and Trade, Minister for Science, Innovation and Trade, Minister for Sport, and Minister for Skills and Training, in a ceremony at Luna Park on Thursday 27 October 2022.

Three students from NSW government schools were finaliast in the schools category of the International Student of the Year Award: Kathy Nguyen from Dulwich High School of Visual Arts and Design; William Nguyen from Canley Vale High School; and Arum Jeon from Northmead Creative and Performing Arts High School. All three students held student leadership positions in their school and gave their time to support charities through volunteer work.
