Belmore Boys High School

Belmore is an innovative boys’ high school of 300 students, 98% of whom come from non-English speaking backgrounds from 35 cultural groups. Staff believe that boys learn best when they build strong relationships with each other and their teachers; when their teachers have high expectations of their learning; when they receive feedback and behaviour is taught under a positive framework. The school’s focus is on learning, both academically and socially. Students are encouraged to achieve through explicit, quality teaching in a supportive learning environment.
