DE International continues to require all study tour group participants to be vaccinated with a full course of a Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) recognised COVID vaccine before they arrive in NSW. Participants will be required to provide their COVID vaccination certificate along with the Overseas Visitor Profile, confirming their vaccination history and status.
Study Tours participants must undertake TGA approved Rapid Antigen Tests (RATs) within 24 hours of arrival in NSW.
Information and advice related to COVID-19 is available from the NSW Department of Education, NSW Health and Study NSW.
The wellbeing of our international students is our number one priority. To ensure our students have access to the support they need, we’ve partnered with Medibank to offer the DE International Wellbeing Support Service. In addition to providing continued access for our students to the Medibank 24/7 Student Health and Support Line, the service also provides new avenues for parents, carers and schools to seek help in supporting the wellbeing of our students.
More information is available on our DE International Wellbeing Support Service webpage.
To support our international students staying in NSW the DE International School Holidays Program offered students a range of study programs, trips and activities during 2020-2022 school holidays.
During Term 2 2020, international students enrolled in Years 9-12 at a NSW government school were invited to become Social Distancing Superstars and share their tips, activities and projects to inspire others! The competition ran throughout Term 2, with a new topic announced each fortnight and prizes awarded from our preferred OSHC provider, Medibank. See the winning and highly commended entries on our Social Distancing Superstars webpage.
