The wellbeing of our international students is our number one priority. To ensure our students have access to the support they need, we’ve partnered with Medibank to offer the DE International Wellbeing Support Service. In addition to providing continued access for our students to the Medibank 24/7 Student Health and Support Line, the service also provides new avenues for parents, carers and schools to seek help in supporting the wellbeing of our students.
More information is available on our DE International Wellbeing Support Service webpage.
Due to Australian Government border restrictions, international students who go home for the summer holidays may be unable to re-enter Australia to commence the 2021 school year. To support our international students staying in NSW over the summer holidays, we are offering the opportunity to join the DE International Summer Holidays Program. The program will run in January 2021 and allows students to choose from a range of study programs, trips and activities. Please see the program webpage for further details.
During Term 2, international students enrolled in Years 9-12 at a NSW government school were invited to become Social Distancing Superstars and share their tips, activities and projects to inspire others! The competition ran throughout Term 2, with a new topic announced each fortnight and prizes awarded from our preferred OSHC provider, Medibank. See the winning and highly commended entries on our Social Distancing Superstars webpage.
